Excellence in Safety Award

Overview:

The University of Toledo does an excellent job in preventing hazards, accidents and other negative effects in the workplace, and that is because of the buy-in to safety culture of the employees and students. EHRS has developed this award to recognize any University faculty or staff member, hospital employee, student, laboratory group, volunteer, or anyone affiliated with °µÍø½ûÇø who has made a considerable contribution to improving safety at °µÍø½ûÇø. These contributions can range from actions taken to prevent injury or illness, successfully maintaining a hazard free laboratory, helping resolve unsafe work conditions, or demonstrating any positive effort to maintain the safety culture here at °µÍø½ûÇø.Ìý

Nominations:

Nominations can be submitted by completing the form below. EHRS will review the submissions and award individuals or groups on a bi-monthly basis. At the end of the year, all submissions will be reviewed and an overall "Elite in Safety" winner will be chosen and receive a $100 gift card. All other winners will be entered into drawings for various other prizes.Ìý
